Hi, I’m Ashley, the heart behind Look Beneath the Surface, which I run with my husband and high school sweetheart, Nathan. We’re blessed to call Maui home and are parents to our beautiful little boy.

The three most important things in my life are my faith, my husband, and my family. These values guide everything I do, especially my passion for helping women transform their health and find freedom in their bodies.

From the beginning, my goal with this business has been to empower women with sustainable, lifelong solutions for their health and fitness. I know so many of you want to love the body you live in, and that’s a beautiful goal. But the journey to get there often becomes tangled in harmful approaches like yo-yo dieting, extreme restriction, over exercising, complicated plans, and overwhelm. These not only impact self-esteem and quality of life but can lead to serious health issues—like hormonal imbalances, gut dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies, hair loss, and more.

That’s where this business comes in. I’m here to cut through the noise of the health and fitness industry and show you a better way. My focus is on breaking the cycle of restriction and dieting to help you truly understand how to fuel your body, achieve your goals, and feel your best—without sacrificing your sanity or health.

I specialize in sustainable fat loss, body recomposition, and holistic health. My team and I have had the honor of working 1-on-1 with hundreds of women, helping them achieve goals like losing fat, building lean muscle, healing their gut and hormones, and transforming their mindset around food.

On a personal note, my health journey started when I was just a little girl. I didn’t understand how to properly fuel my body and believed the only way to reach my goals was through starvation, overexercising, and misery. I developed a fear of food and fell into a cycle of restriction, overeating, and chasing every fad diet. After seven years of struggle, I finally broke free by investing in my own nutrition and fitness coaching. That experience changed my life and sparked my passion for helping others find healing too.

I studied dietetics and nutrition at MSU (still in progress) and earned certifications in nutrition, personal training, gut health, and hormonal health.

My goal is to help you reach your most confident self—not through gimmicks, supplements, or detoxes—but through real, whole-food nutrition, movement, and lifestyle changes that heal your body from the inside out.

Hi, I’m Jen, a certified holistic health coach, nutrition coach, and personal trainer. I’ve helped hundreds of women regain the joy in their health through an emphasis on healing their relationships with food, balancing hormone and gut health, and setting up systems that will make nutrition and movement fit seamlessly into everyday life. I reside in Colorado with my husband, puppy, and baby girl. I have competed in ultra running for over six years and am passionate about exploring the beautiful trails outside our back door. Hi! I'm Abby, and I am a holistic health and nutrition coach as well as personal trainer. I live in Colorado with my husband and two little boys. I am a distance runner and have been in the running world either coaching, competing or both for 13 years. I love being outside and adventuring in nature all while showing my boys the beauty of it all! I have had the opportunity to work with many athletes as well as mothers and women who are interested in growing their fitness, healing their relationships with food, regaining balance to their hormones and gut health. Reaching these goals doesn't have to be lonely or unsustainable. Christine came to me at her breaking point. She, like so many other women, gained weight during menopause and was battling against her changed metabolism to lose it again. She had spent years trying keto, strict detox diets, bootcamps, fasting etc and nothing was working for HER body. She was frustrated, exhausted and felt like she lost herself through menopause and was struggling to feel like HER again.

Nicole, like a lot of the women we work with, had A LOT to juggle each day with a full time job and being a mother. Why should you apply? 

My goal is to make sure this program the perfect fit for anyone who joins, which is why there’s an application process. I want to set you up for success, whether it’s with this program or one that’s a better fit for your needs and goals right now. 

Do I need to join a gym?

No - the vast majority of our clients actually train from home with a large percent of them using zero equipment. As each program is tailored around what equipment, if any, you have access to it doesn't make any difference if you train at home or in a gym.

I don't need help with workouts, just nutrition. Is that okay?

Totally fine! That's why we customize a plan specifically for you. 

How much does this program cost?

As we don’t do copy and paste programes its impossible to give a price without speaking to you as we don't know the level of coaching you need, your current situation etc. It's like going to a doctors office and expecting a prescription without first telling the doctor your symptoms. This is why we do calls with every woman interested in learning more about our coaching so we can get to know more about their life, their goals and where they are at currently so we can give you a step by step answer to what a successful coaching plan for YOU would look like.

I'm 56 - am I too old for this?

Many of our clients are over the age of 50 and still get incredible results. Age is just a number!

Is this program online?

We work fully online with clients worldwide. We currently have clients in over 28 countries worldwide: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Dubai, China, Australia, France, South Africa and Sweden to name just a few. As we are online we provide our clients full support daily to coach them on nutrition, workouts, mindset etc and provide support/accountability around the clock which far exceeds the one hour support weekly you get attending a class in person etc.

What happens when I apply? 

When you click the button to apply, you’ll be taken to a short form. The questions on the form allow me to understand what your challenges are at the moment, and what you’re wanting to achieve. From there, you’ll be able to book a time and date for a FREE 45-minute strategy session to discuss your form and see if this program is a good fit for you.

What if I don't see progress?
